Here we have a SUPERB Industrial scissor lamp - this is one of the best of it's kind I have seen. I purchased this recently from a design fair in Helsinki, Finland. It will need completely rewiring as they have a different voltage over there so please bare this in mind. I would assume this is Scandinavian in origin because of where I purchased it though it does have a Bauhaus look to it. I would imagine this dates from somewhere around the 1950's. It has a good industrial look to it and would have likely been a machinist's or factory workers lamp. It's a very practical piece, you can easily mount it to a wall or another surface where you require it, the shade can be angled and the arm extends easily enough. This would look absolutely superb once rewired, if I had the space for it I would keep it myself as it is just my style. It measures approximately 13 inches by 7.75 inches deep by 6.75 inches when closed and it extends to 43 inches in length. A good solid piece, this weighs approximately 1.5kg's! This is the only one on eBay the same as this so get it while you can! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Please see my other items where I have a good selection of quality lighting as well as many other decorative antiques.

Please add me to your favourites list and take a look at my other items as I have hundreds that will be listed daily in the up and coming weeks.

Please Note;

I use new & recycled materials to ensure that your item arrives to you safely. I pack all of my items the best I can which you will see from my feedback. However, as with fragile items there is always a risk, items such as Antiques/Collectables, glass, ceramics, paintings etc are not insured for damage by any of the postal services, with the exception of The Royal Mail. This is why I offer a choice of postage options, so you can choose your preferred postage method. Collection in person is also available on all of my items. In the unfortunate, and unlikely event that something does get damaged or goes missing with the Royal Mail then I will do my very best to assist you in making a claim. I always obtain proof of postage for all of my sent items. Sadly I cannot be held responsible for the postal services poor handling of parcels. Here are a few links regarding Royal Mails compensation policies and how to make a claim if necessary.

International Buyers – Please Note:

Import duties; sometimes there will be a charge, I think this is mainly charged on high value items, this is something that the Government enforces to which I have no control of. I declare the value of the parcel as the price the item sold for plus shipping costs.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
