This is for an original Majestic Cool Base Collection size 48 San Francisco Giants camouflage Memorial Day jersey worn by pitcher George Kontos during the May 27 2013 game against the Oakland A’s at O.Co Stadium in Oakland. Josh Donaldson would drive in two runs with a home run in the fourth inning and Yoenis Cespedes would double home two runs in the seventh with all four runs being charged to Giants starter Madison Bumgarner in a 4-1 Oakland victory. George Kontos was actually brought in to face Cespedes with two runners on in the seventh and the A’s holding a 2-1 lead, but Cespedes would clear the bases with his double before Kontos would strikeout Josh Donaldson to end the inning. Both teams would wear camouflage jerseys to honor veterans and soldiers for Memorial Day. These actual game used jerseys are tough to come by as everyone needs one for their team collection. The jersey is gorgeous with the numbers, San Francisco and Kontos being sewn on in camouflage outlined in orange twill along with a Giants team patch on the left sleeve and 2012 World Series Champions patch sewn on the right sleeve, commemorating the Giants first Worlds Championship in San Francisco. The jersey also has the MLB Authentic Hologram (EK 614416) proving that this is an authentic game used jersey which has been used by George Kontos during the game.  A tough alternate jersey to find for any San Francisco Giants collector or fan.
