Rare 5” standing teddy bear made of gold mohair, stuffed with straw filling.  He has 2 tiny gold and brown glass eyes and a black thread hand stitched nose and mouth.  His ears stand up with the aid of an inside wire loop.  Arms, legs and head are all fixed in place, not jointed to move. He’s from the early 1900’s to Pre-WW1 period. Good to fair condition, there are several small holes where you can see the straw filling inside. On a portion of the top of the right ear, the wire is exposed.  Super cute miniature bear for the collector.
