The co-creators of the excellent and currently ongoing Image Comics' series What's The Furthest Place From Here? MATTHEW ROSENBERG and TYLER BOSS have turned out some exceptional work over the last decade that includes several notable small press titles as well as Big Two superhero fare. Rosenberg's 2015 breakout book, We Can Never Go Home Again, was an indie sensation that helped put new publisher Black Mask Studios on the map. One year later, in his first collaboration with Boss, Rosenberg returned to Black Mask with 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank, giving Black Mask another solid win. 


4 Kids is a darkly comedic tale that centers around Paige, whose father has stepped up and become a more responsible parent following the death of her mother. So when a group of criminals show up at their door demanding that Paige’s father join them for one last job, she’s faced with a decision: let her newly reformed father dip back into his criminal ways, or enlist her three 12-year-old best friends to do the job first.


It's a story that resonated with Hollywood, as the comic was optioned in late 2020 by the production company Picturestart.  Information since the deal was announced in Deadline hasn't been forthcoming, but if the quality of the material means anything, 4 Kids will absolutely have its day at the Box Office.
