This listing is for a bundle of 12 pieces, still factory tied, of Fletcher Wicks for petroleum oil lamps.   They came in a large package, which I am dividing, as not too many people need 144 wicks!  I will include a picture of the label, if you like.  They were made in the 1930's in Providence RI.  In the first part of the last century, through the 1940's, many people depended on oil lamps for their lighting.  Now it is quaint, and we use them because they are so cool.  These wicks are narrow, just 1 inch across, so will fit most lamps.  The label trademark is a whale, as the early lamps were powered by whale oil.  This had changed by the 1930's, so the label says for "petroleum" oil.
