A reprint of a masterpiece with Keeley's vocals snuggling up to a performance that shines with a stylish arrangement and craftsmanship!
The beginning (M-1) is charming with a light bossa arrangement, followed by the romantic M-2 and the darkness of the night. The arrangement by Arnie Freeman and Benny Carter shines, and I can understand why the reprint was eagerly awaited.
It is a piece that makes you feel Keely's respect for the composer, such as the part that did not use the name of the Beatles in the title.
There are good songs such as the swingy M-3, 5, 9 and the elegant appearance of the waltz-like M-11, and the work is finished with an exquisite combination of nostalgia and an urban sense.
The bonus track includes "A KEELY CHRISTMAS" released in 1960 as a Christmas gift for this year.
