1. Pumpkin-Mammoth Gold 110 days. Mammoth Gold Pumpkin produces nice yields of golden orange 40 to 60 lb. pumpkins. These pumpkins have a nice smooth surface and thick pale orange flesh. Mammoth Gold is a producer of giant pumpkins that can routinely reach weights of up to 60 pounds or more. This heirloom pumpkin has been grown in gardens dating back to the 1800s. They are nearly round, smooth, faintly ribbed with a thick pale orange flesh. Great for carving and making pies.

2. Radish-Crimson Giant 45 days. Sometimes called Crimson "Giant Globe Radish" or "Giant Butter Radish". Crimson Giant Radish seeds grow large 1 1/2 - 2" globe shaped crimson red radishes. These great globes don't become hollow or pithy with their large size. Twice the size of Cherry Belle. The flavor is rich with a buttery texture yet mild and not hot.

3. Mustard greens-Tatsoi 50 days. Tatsoi Mustard or "Spoon Mustard" comes from China and gained tradition as a tender culinary herb in Japan. As a relative to bok choy and Chinese cabbage varieties, Tatsoi Mustard is a cold-hardy biennial with active growth that can overwinter in regions with mild winters! This rounded no-heading mustard often called "“Tat Choy" is a popular savory dish with "spoon-shaped" forest-green leaves that can be sauteed, steamed or fried with rich seasoning.

4. Green Pea-Progress No. 9 a dwarf variety is an early-to-harvest hardy shelling pea that develops thick 4-5" deep-green pods. Short-vine bush peas such as Progress No. 9 Peas are wilt-resistant, fast-maturing and grow abundantly for a late spring or fall crop. Progress No. 9 provides crisp, hearty sweet peas that are tender and fresh! This popular garden shelling-pea was named after plant breeder Thomas Laxton, who initially called it "Laxton's Progress No. 9" during the mid-19th century.

5. Early purple Sprouting Broccoli-59 days Purple sprouting broccoli is an old English type broccoli. Early Purple Sprouting Broccoli is not only a colorful addition to salads, but it is very flavorful. We slightly cook them in the microwave and toss them in salads. I was stunned at the size of this particular strain, it was huge, about 3' tall and FULL of large purple side shoots.

6. Cabbage-Pak Choi Pak choi (also known as bok choy) is a type of Chinese cabbage. It’s a great addition to stir-fries and noodle dishes, best cooked very briefly so it retains a nice crunch. Whether steaming, boiling or stir-frying, it only needs a minute or two, so don’t overdo it! 40 to 50 days to full maturity. Growable as a microgreen (harvest at 8 to 12 days). This widely grown Asian green, also called bok choy, has smooth green leaves and thick white leaf stalks.

a quick note on seed storage... I feel through my experience the best way to store your seed is in the
refrigerator. Some vegetable varieties produce seed that remains viable for many years (tomatoes)
and others produce seed that does not store well under any conditions (onions). I believe seed
stored under refrigerated conditions could last 10 years or more. I have just planted some ACE 55
seeds from 2000 during summer 2017. They did great! Germination rates were in the 90% range and
these seeds had been sitting in a box in my garage for the past 17 years! I have some of that seed
available now listed as Marlboro Ace 55. GET SOME!

At Frontier Farms, we specialize in many varieties of Heirloom tomatoes, peppers, plus many other
vegetable varieties.

WHAT IS AN HEIRLOOM? Heirloom plants are grown from seeds that have been handed down thru

generations, saved from year to year, some varieties dating back hundreds of years. Many

made the migration from Europe and the East with the immigrants coming to the USA. The seeds

are never cross pollinated  and so they remain true to their particular characteristics. Heirloom

tomatoes come in all colors, shapes, and sizes ? Reds, Pinks, Yellows, Orange, White, Green,

Striped, and Black. Ranging in sizes of cherry and grape to large grapefruit size, meaty, or juicy.

WHY HEIRLOOM? These tomatoes are more natural, they are non GMO (genetically modified).

They do not have as long of a shelf life as store bought tomatoes, but that is what makes

them special. They have a real fantastic tomato flavor not found in grocery store offerings. These

tomatoes are indeterminate (they grow all season, they flower all season and they produce

tomatoes all season. They don't stop until frost. Once heirloom tomatoes are picked, they do

not have a long shelf life as hybrids but they more than make up for any shortcomings in flavor.

Please see my other listings and my store for more great

varieties and thank you!
