Interesting piece here.  I am assuming that it related locomotives but please use your best judgement.

Rotates approximately 180 degree as there is a motor on the inside that I can hear when it is manually rotated.  The yellow that you see is a flexible transparent cut out and not a lens...I am not sure if it is original to the lamp.

If anyone has some information regarding this piece and would like to share please do.
