The Spot is lightweight and very thin,  so you'll hardly even know it's in your pocket. The flipper opener is simple to deploy, which makes it newbie friendly.  It has a black blade and a Aluminum handle. The blade is made of 154CM, which is a very hard steel with great wear resistance and it is easy to sharpen. The aluminum handle gives a solid feel with no extra weight for a reasonable grip. It is the perfect choice for your daily carry.

154CM Steel

154CM is one of “better”steel varieties made for cutlery and other knife blades. It's not a powder steel (CPM154 would be the powder version), but it's a commonly used steel for a higher grade knife. A popular use for 154CM steel is in survival knives that are often exposed to harsh elements like salt water for extended periods. It has an exceptionally good balance between three enviable attributes which are toughness, hardness, and corrosion resistance. 154CM steel is a very high carbon stainless steel with the addition of Molybdenum. It most certainly gives you a better edge retention than normal cutlery or stainless steels.

Aluminum Handle

Aluminum is a low-density metal and is a very durable material for shanks. The aluminum handle gives a solid feel with no extra weight for a reasonable grip, it feels comfortable in the hand and is easy to use for long periods of time.
