The Yamaha "BB" bass has been boldly redesigned based on the concept of "the strongest bolt-on passive bass" with an eye on the modern music scene. This is the renewed variation model "BB735", which inherits the basic specs of the top model "BBP" model as faithfully as possible, and also adopts an active spec, which has been a long time since passive specs were the mainstream BB model, and achieves high cost performance by being manufactured outside of Japan!

Inheriting the wood material and laminate construction of the higher-end "BB" model, it features a 3-layer alder/maple/alder laminate body, a 5-piece laminate neck with a slim grip shape combining maple and mahogany, and a rosewood fingerboard. The body, neck, and head are finished in matte black finish with black nickel parts, PJ pickups with high-grade Alnico 5 magnets, and a black-colored 3-ply pickguard. The pickup covers are a generic design and can be customized as desired.

The controls for this active bass guitar are volume, pickup balancer, and 3-band EQ, and a switch allows you to switch between active and passive modes, allowing you to choose the sound that best suits your situation. A battery alert LED on the rear panel lets you know when it is time to replace the batteries.

The "6-bolt miter joint," which is used on higher-end models, is a bolt that is driven at a 45-degree angle toward the neck, making it adhere more firmly to the neck and body to achieve a strong, unified neck and body sound. The "miter stringing bridge" allows the strings to pass through the back of the body at a 45-degree angle from the bridge saddle, and the instrument's sound and design structure are inherited in this high-cost performance model.
