Many people think that Space Mountain originated in Disneyland, but Space Mountain opened at WDW in January 1975 and then in Disneyland in May for 1977. This dark ride is a classic and remains very close to the original ride at WDW since it’s opening but they do feature a Star Wars” Hyperspace Mountain as a seasonal attraction.
