DESCRIPTION:

Wedgwood “Adour” pattern lidded vegetable or sauce serving dish with under plate. Pretty pattern introduced in 1888 edges, scroll handles and flat floral top finial are all trimmed in finely detailed dark brown designs, beautifully complimented by daintily panels of hand painted yellow and rust flowers. Both the under plate and dish are fully marked on base, lid has a hand painted number in rust. Embossed "WEDGWOOD" and date letters I think DKR, placing the pieces as produced in 1889.  There are also som hand painted artist marks.  In good antique condition with no chips, cracks some wear to finish on plate, commensurate with the antique age and use of the piece.
