Old 1/2 leather binding (likely c.1890-1910 era), smooth spine, gilt bands and title lettering. Binding remains clean, tight, and sound. Interior contents display moderate age toning and spotting throughout.

Title page missing, book opens to page 5 of preface, followed by Introduction (12 pp.), then the work itself begins and continues to "Finis" at pp. 506. 5 pp Index at rear, Errata, then extensive detailed publishers catalogue. 

Book remains sound, tight and handsome, binding scuffed, rubbed and with evidence of former library spine tag removal. well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive given the scarcity of the book.
