Die Handlung von X-Out spielt im Jahr 2019, was damals noch 29 Jahre in der Zukunft lag. Im Spiel geschieht etwas unglaubliches: der erste Kontakt mit extraterrestrischem Leben. Es stellt sich heraus, dass es sich um wasserlebende Aliens handelt, die durch eine künstliche Einstein-Rosen-Brücke auf die Erde gekommen sind. Sie erobern die Erde und machen die Küsten unsicher. Die Weltregierung sucht erfahrene U-Boot-Piloten, aber es gibt nur einen ehemaligen U-Boot-Veteranen, der bereit ist, gegen die Aliens zu kämpfen. Das Spiel beginnt mit einem spektakulären Intro und man befindet sich im Shop, um sich das Schiff zusammenzustellen. Man hat 15.000$ zur Verfügung. Dann geht es ins erste von insgesamt acht Levels. Zwischen den Levels kommt man immer wieder in den Shop, um Schiffe zu kaufen oder zu verkaufen. Die Grafik ist gut gemacht, aber es gibt gelegentlich Flackern. Das Beste am Spiel sind die Soundeffekte und der Soundtrack, die einem im Kopf bleiben. Insgesamt ist das Spiel gut spielbar und hat keine unüberwindbaren Stellen.

In der Regel haben gegradete Sammler Spiele dann einen hohen Sammelwert, das der Zustand unabhängig kontrolliert und bewertet wurde.

The plot of X-Out takes place in 2019, which at the time was still 29 years in the future. In the game something incredible happens: the first contact with extraterrestrial life. It turns out that they are water-dwelling aliens that have come to Earth through an artificial Einstein-Rosen bridge. They conquer the Earth and make the coasts unsafe. The world government is looking for experienced submarine pilots, but there is only one former submarine veteran who is ready to fight against the aliens. The game starts with a spectacular intro and you are in the store to assemble your ship. You have $15,000 at your disposal. Then you enter the first of a total of eight levels. Between levels, you keep coming back to the store to buy or sell ships. The graphics are well done, but there are occasional flickers. The best part of the game is the sound effects and soundtrack that stick in your head. Overall, the game is well playable and has no insurmountable spots.
