We purchased them in unused, new condition, directly from Metzeler at 40% off, and are passing the savings on to you. Tire manufacturers consider tires to be "NEW" for up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. And after 10 years should be replaced. In short, these tires have a good 6-7 years left of good riding!
