STEERING STEM NUT This tool fits all Ducati's with a perforated top nut. Using this tool is the only way to check the torque on the steering stem nut, or for its removal and assembly. This tool is equivalent to Ducati tool Part No. 88713.1058 and has a 1/2" square drive socket hole. This Tool Fits: 916, 996, 996, 999, 748, 749, 1098, 848, multistrada series, monster series, st2, st3, st4, supersport series, multistrada series, gt series, sport classic series and hypermotard. This tool is made from toughened steel and zinc plated and made to last years, unlike the aluminium ones on the market. The bearings in the triple tree must be greased and inspected regularly and the torque has to be checked to avoid riding problems.
