Each booklet has a paper sleeve with 4-folding lips. Green flexible cloth covers. White slips on the front covers with attractive gilt designs and lettering. Frontispiece in each. Front and back pastedowns are decorated. Borders around the pages contain green decorative patterns. No pagination. paper sleeves have some minor chips and tears. Covers have one or two minor creases, and a few stray threads from the cloth binding. Frontispieces detached at their bottoms (possibly by design). A few pages are detached in "The Deserted Village."
