TUBE SIZING

Pneumatic hose and tubing fits inside the pneumatic push-fit fittings

The outside diameter of the hose or tubing should therefore be the same as the inside diameter of the fitting.

 Example. Tubing with an outside diameter of 10mm will be compatible with a push-fit fitting sized at 10mm.

BSP THREAD SIZING

BSP thread sizing is NOT straightforward.

 Measure the approximate outside diameter of the male thread in millimetres then refer to the sizing guide below to see the corresponding BSP thread size in inches.

Example.  If the thread diameter is approximately 13mm (about 1/2") then this will be sized at 1/4" BSP

Note: The diameter of male BSP threads will measure slightly larger than the same sized female BSP threads.
