It is a complete case with a set of mounting elements. Connect the connector. The case is over. It contains everything. DB23 cable and switch. One is for turning the drive on/off and the other is optionally for adjusting the loudspeaker (louder or quieter for the Gotek version with loudspeaker).
Works great with the GOTEK floppy disk emulator!
