About the Quantity:

The price is per piece. This is also true when there are 2 or more Manuals in one picture.
 (More than 1 manual in one picture can sometimes be used for quality comparison or reference)

Exception is the set:
Example: a folder or map is included with the manual, making that a set .
If you are in doubt: please feel free to ask!

About the Quality:

you might receive an item that is a bit different than on the pictures. If you want to receive a photo of the exact item you will receive: Please buy first and ask for the picture before I have sent your item. Most of the photo's are from actual (unique)items

In the photo's you can find the letter A,B,C,D or E where A is best and E is the lowest quality.
A Quality is not new, these booklets are over 2 decades old. Some A's look like new though. Quality A is very good but you might find some spots or small creases

a sticker or big dog-ears (folds/Creases) on the front usually is B or lower , just like writing or a a sticker on it makes it drop a grade.
E is with a lot of damage. Most are B or better . 

About languages:
Sometimes it's really simple: when the word "manual" or "Instructions" is written in your own language: Then the manual is in your language! 
Sadly, Nintendo made a big mess with these codes, especially with the D.M.G ( Classic Gameboy) manuals for Europe. For example: On many "FAH Code" manuals there is no English language on the inside (but the word "Instructions" is English and Nintendo should have used the Dutch word "Instructies" on the cover/outside.
There are many exceptions (please check Harry Potter Philosopher's Stone: "Steen Der Wijzen" The -HOL version , it's multilingual!)

Examples: ( Instructions = English Mode D 'Emploi = Francais , Anleitung = Deutsch , Libretto/Manuel Di Istruzioni = Italiano , Instrucciones = Espanyol) 

These are all with different region/distributioncode code ( last 3 letters of the code on the manual). Please check for yourself if this is a manual you want. "EUR" where mostly distributed trough entire Europe. EUT are mostly Multi-lingual and most often* the languages are on the front of the manual. FAH is for Francais and Holland (HOL = Nederlands) , some have English as a bonus. Nintendo of Europe (NOE) is mostly German only ( Deutschsprachig).
NEU5 and NEU6 means 5 or 6 european languages. SCN = Scandinavian release: some have English as a bonus. NHAU = English and Nederlands
UKV and USA are always English , sometimes with a bonus language
