Welcome to my ad for a Mini rear hood seal repair kit, this kit replaces the cracked and split overlap completely and then covers 95% of the remaining rubber that is left on the plastic main moulding. Will fit Mini Convertible R52 from 2004 to 2008 and R57 mini convertible 2008 to 2011 Now Mini charge £145 per side for complete replacement rear trims, these are a much cheaper way to get you Mini convertible looking good again
The kit consists of 2 strips custom made EPDM rubber extrusion made from my own custom dye with a self adhesive tape to hold in place whilst it is refitted, once refitted it is clamped in place as well come with instructions to fit. also whilst stocks last will include some replacement mounting screws, FOC
This gives the benefit of covering or replacing 95% of the original top part of the rubber seal.
Easy DIY fit for competent people but does require the use of a sharp craft knife to fit. These trims come with a 10 year warranty to not crack or split like the original items. Subject to correct fitting
