Original photograph from the Brown Brothers newspaper archive.  The event is Cornelia Vanderbilt’s wedding to John Cecil.  The photo is of the groomsmen and bridesmaids procession into All Souls church, the cathedral George Vanderbilt constructed on his magnificent estate Biltmore House, still the largest mansion in the USA.  The date is April 29, 1924.  Cornelia and her mother Edith Vanderbilt are visible at the the back of the procession.  I purchased the entire archive so they won’t be others like this coming up for sale.  Very rare. A couple of chips to the corners of the photo but not really taking away from the image.  Measures about 7” x 10”
