After the mountain bike flagship XTR has already set benchmarks and Deore XT and SLX have followed suit, the Deore M5100 now rounds off Shimano's 11-speed lineup. 

Regarding the price, the current Shimano Deore groups are positioned in the entry-level range, but are not prepared to compromise in terms of performance, quality and reliability. Almost everything that the high end groups XTR, XT and SLX have to offer in terms of technology, innovation, performance and range of functions, you will find in the Deore components, too.

The Shimano Deore FC-M5100-1 crank is designed for 1x11- as well as for 1x10-speed drivetrains and features a 2-piece construction keeping the weight low. A 4-arm chainring with 96 mm B.C.D. ensures an efficient transmission of pedal force.
