A copper engraved map of four vertical columns containing the routes with text engraved at the side and beneath the columns. This text  includes a wealth of  fascinating,  historical , topographical and informative notes.

There are also topographical features,  compass rose showing orientation of the route in each column and the Coat of Arms of Maidstone .

Verso, plate 47, is the "Description of London " continued with the distances from central London of the towns along the route.

 Fine condition  free of repairs or restoration, a crisp, dark impression.

Approx. 8" x 5.5" (200mm x 140mm) overall.
