One of the most desired features of this coating is that it is extremely hydrophobic this means that the surface repels water and causes the water to form beads or droplets on the surface, this is called the Lotus Effect.
Self-Cleaning
The Lotus Effect refers to self-cleaning properties that are a result of ultra-hydrophobicity as exhibited by the leaves of the Lotus Flower. Dirt particle's are picked up by the water droplets due to the micro-and nanoscopic architecture on the surface, which minimizes the droplets adhesion to that surface therefor causing the surface to self-clean.

Please Note: Masking tape will not adhere to the treated surface, so make sure you apply Nano Shield to your topsides after you have completed the antifouling application.
Surface must be dry and free from any dirt, oils, wax or polish residues before the application of the coating. Avoid application in direct sunlight.
Use sparingly and spray 4-5 spots per 1m2 directly onto the surface and wipe the area with a clean microfibre cloth, then buff off with a fresh microfibre cloth.
