Antique 18th Century Heavy Door Knocker, Original Patina

Found in the south of France, this Knocker has a lovely

Patina that only age can provide.  See photo where over

the many, many years the metal has worn from the knocking

side.  I'm sure that it came from one of the lovely old French

Parisian type doors that you see so often in France.  A 

historical treasure.

This is a lovely old door Knocker, quite 

heavy at 3 1/2 pounds.

7" wide at widest point

8 1/4" Long not including shank

3 1/4" long shank
