This D.A.S. Hawkeye marble run has some real cool color combinations that can be attributed to some excellent glass that was used. This marble has an opaque appearance that allows the viewer to see some beautiful earth tone pigments of almond, cocoa, chocolate and saddle brown. The base glass is a nice beautiful ivory white. The green aventurine adds the pop and sparkle that we all love. But that Gold Chain is completely off the hook! One of the best gold chain marbles I have seen in a long time. 

This particular marble is mostly defined by the gold chain. It is easy to spot because it is strategically located right between the almond swirl and white base glass. As shown in the first few pictures, the long interface between the brown/white sections have quite a long and pronounced gold chain. It actually curves around the marble about 270 degrees, so it is quite long. Very few marbles have this type of gold chain that delineate two different colors of glass. This enhances the collectability tremendously in my opinion.  

I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views to show all possible angles. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR with built-in flash to produce as much small detail as van be shown in a photograph. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is a huge 0.704" in diameter measured with electronic calipers. Note: what may at first glance look like specs or flaws are actually flakes of green aventurine.
