1970 was the last year pre decimal coin were issued, they were only produced for collectors sets and none released for general circulation.

Condition:
All coins have been taken from Royal Mint Proof Sets, some will have minor toning, a natural process occurring when the coin is exposed to the air - the brass threepences and the bronze pennies & halfpennies are particularly susceptible to this. Some may have very minor hairlining/contact marks but all coins are generally in excellent condition.
Proof coins are of a higher quality than a coin manufactured for circulation, they are better struck with strong detail and are made for both collectors and ideal for gifts, crafting or artworks.
