If you select the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, the device will be unlocked for all carriers. You will be able to use a SIM card with it for cell service.

Make sure the carrier you have will still support an older iPad with cell service.

PLEASE NOTE: Apple no longer gives software updates to this iPad. It only updates until iOS 9.3.6

Make sure all apps you need are compatible.

Also, in order to connect to Wi-Fi, your network does need to be a WPA2 connection. The iPad will not connect to a WPA3 network because of its older software. Please message us if you have any questions about this.
