Made in France Steel Cut Beads Single Shoe Buckle or Clio(or scarf Slide/Belt).

This beautiful single clip or buckle is made of draped satin behind a myriad of steel cut beads. The tops of the beads are gently faceted.

This piece is 2 3/4” long and 1 7/8” wide. It is stunning. In two of my photos, I slid through a length of fabric to show how amazing this piece would be on an evening dress as a belt.

The underside is stamped Made in France. The fabric/cardboard-type backing shows wear and a little oxidation commensurate with the age of this piece. It is no-doubt antique as steel-cut beads were made in France from the mid 1880’s until the 1930’s.
