A smashing example of a

WW-II British Home Front

Sweetheart Bar Brooch

for the loved one of a member of the

Royal Armoured Corps

1939-1945

One of the younger Corps in The British Army,

the RAC was formed in April 1939

and became the umbrella for a number of existing Regiments

including

The Royal Tank Regiment & Reconnaissance Corps

and served in all theatres of World War Two

including the

D-Day Landings of June 6th 1944

Measuring approx 1.5" across,

the bar features a small iconic RAC cap badge

at its centre and is in an

overall very good, issued condition..!

Another attractive WW-II British Regimental Sweetheart Brooch..
