🍀USAGE DIRECTION: Indigo powder when used alone will not penetrate the hair and color them You need to use it with Henna.
For the first time usage, always follow two steps method.
Apply Henna to your hair first (Follow the directions of Henna preparation and application from our package of Henna Powder). On second day, mix indigo powder with water to make paste, let it sit for 20 minutes in bowl. Wear gloves and apply Vaseline/oil on your forehead along the hair line Section your hair, apply Indigo mixture along the roots and hair line with gloved hand. Let it sit on hair for 1 hour to 3 hours, depending on preferred intensity. Rinse thoroughly with water.
You should be able to see actual result (dark brown to black hair) within 48-72 hours of the application.
Use shampoo-conditioner only after 72 hours of application.
For subsequent usage, you can use one step method to cover mild to moderate gray. To cover full gray head, use two steps method each time.

🍀What is Natural Indigo (Indigofera tinctoria)?
Indigo is the tall Shrub of legume family cultivated all over the world since century. Dry leaves powder of this shrub is used as natural indigo dye to color cloths blue and hair black (with Henna).
🍀Can I use Indigo powder alone to blacken my hair?
No, Indigo won't stick to hair to impart the color. Indigo will need base of Henna dye to stick to hair and impart brownish to black tone (instructions can be found on back of our package)
🍀Is this powder fermented indigo?
No, Our powder is made by grinding the dry leaf of indigo plant. It Is not fermented and hence do not turn indigo blue in color immediately after mixing.
🍀What should I keep in mind while using Henna Powder?
1. It is for external use only.
2. Indigo needs liquid/water and oxygen to release the dye.
3. Indigo paste start releasing dye immediately, so it is not advisable to keep paste sit for longer time (as opposed to henna) before application. Apply paste on hair within 30-40 minutes of paste preparation.
4. Longer the Indigo stays on Hair, deeper will be the color shade. To get the darker black shade, keep Indigo for at least 3 hours before washing with water.
5. Do not use shampoo for 72 hours after Henna application.
6. It can cause irritation of the eyes. If direct contact occur, rinse the eyes immediately with plenty of cold water.
7. Use the airtight container to store the powder, avoid moisture contamination
8. As with any natural product, always test for the allergy before using it first time. (Instructions can be found on back of the package)
🍀 Can I use this Indigo for body art?
No.
🍀 Will Indigo stain my clothes, pillow or skin?
It can give light blue stain to the clothes or pillow. However, it is easily removable by washing.
