Distilled in 2008 at Mount Gay distillery and bottled in 2017 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Italian import giants, Velier.

The label features the artwork #108 by Warren Khong.

Mount Gilbao was a style of rum introduced by the Ward family in the last few years of their ownership of Mount Gay distillery (which has lasted over 100 years).
