2003 Martin SPD-16K2 is now in stock! All veneer of precious Hawaiian Koa wood on top and side back! Fingerboard and bridge are made of rosewood. 20 years after production, there are some minor scratches, but it is clean, shiny, and has excellent playability and sound. The fingerboard has diamond and cat's eye position inlays, and the bridge also has inlays. The main parts, except for consumables such as gold pegs and tortoiseshell pickguard, are original. There is a strap pin hit to the heel of the neck. There is no pickup installation process. The nut width is about 42mm with a slightly thin grip for easy gripping. The neck angle is correct with a very slight original rise near the 12th fret, but there is plenty of room for the truss rod to work. The frets have not worn down much, so the guitar can be used for a long time. The string height has been adjusted to be about 2.4mm on the 6th string side at the 12th fret and about 1.7mm on the 1st string side for easy holding. The saddle from the bridge to the saddle is also high enough to allow for fine tuning in the future. It is beautifully smooth and has a pleasant sustain when fingerpicked! In chord strokes, it's crisp and clear! Comes with original Martin hard case.
