•Please note that due to the natural form of the stones they are all unique & can vary in size, shape & colour.

•Gold plated, Sterling silver, Silver plated & stainless steel will naturally tarnish with exposure to the air, environment, perfumes, moisturisers, hairspray, soaps & even perspiration. These are obviously a fact of life so regular cleaning will help keep your jewellery sparkling. Tarnishing is a non permanent, chemical change in the surface of metal which darkens and dulls over time. Tarnishing will eventually happen on precious metals, changing from its original colour to brown and eventually dark. Pollution, contact with chemicals & some skin types will increase the chances of tarnishing happening quickly. It’s difficult to avoid tarnish on most jewellery as tarnishing is a natural process.

Jewellery Care

•Put jewellery on after applying makeup, perfume & hair products.

•Keep out of contact with bleaches and detergents wherever possible & please, keep your jewellery safely out of reach of children & animals were there are small findings & beads.

•Always remove jewellery when engaging in activities that risk impact or exposure to chemicals or heat such as sports or housework.

•Avoid swimming or bathing while wearing gold or silver plated costume jewellery.

•Recommend the use of a soft cloth with gentle rubbing. But please be aware that any vigorous scrubbing will take off the layer of plating.

•I do not recommend the use of chemical cleaners on plated items, as it can tarnish the plating.
