British WW-II Home Front

Victory Bell 1945

cast from a original

metals salvaged from German Aircraft

shot down over the UK during WW-II.

Measuring approx 6" high by 4.5" at its widest,

(and still boasting its original brass ringer)

it features a handle with a large 'V' on either side

whilst on the bell's side are raised busts of the

3 Victorious Allied Leaders:

Churchill, Roosevelt & Stalin.

Meanwhile around the base of the bell  is carried the inscription:

"CAST WITH METAL FROM GERMAN

AIRCRAFT SHOT DOWN OVER BRITAIN

1939-45 RAF BENEVOLENT FUND"

In a good 'bloomed' condition,

this is an iconic souvenir celebrating Britain's victory

over The Third Reich in WW-II..
