Easy to use - 

1. Turn the blue handle to the left and attach the the Hercules Triple to the pole close to a bracket/ clamp. 

2. Then move the metal swing lever up against the bracket.

3. Turn the blue handle back to the right until the jaws of the Hercules Triple are tightly wrapped around the pole

4. Loosen the pole bracket / clamp 

5. Adjust the awning to the correct level of tension
