This is an Victorian shoe horn.
The tongue is steel and the handle is hallmarked silver:

Maker: not able to accurately read hallmark

Total length: 230mm
Steel tongue: 145mm
Silver handle: 85mm
Condition: good small dent on the handle and slight wear on the bottom of the tongue. There are also some initials (MC) engraved on the handle. Lovely tactile piece. This still has the original dealer's price ticket (£20) on this dates back to circa 1980 when this was purchased.
