YVES SAINT LAURENT 1976 "RUSSIAN COLLECTION" RARE RUNWAY RED BOOTS Size 8.

The iconic and opulent Autumn-Winter 1976/1977 "Opéras - Ballets Russes" or "Russian Collection" included peasant ensembles and various Cossack style coats made of luxurious textiles such as fur, chiffon, silk, velvet, and gold lamé. 
Yves Saint Laurent was one of the first designers to pay homage to Russia and its traditional garments.
These boots are runway, shipped from the show to Yves Saint Laurent in Philadelphia at the Bourse Building, where runway items were offered at private sales.
