Alexis Bittar was the pioneer of handcrafted Lucite jewelry in the early 90s and he is still breaking boundaries and setting trends to this day. This showstopper features silvery-white carved Lucite in graduated sizing (1.25"-3.25"L) forming a chunky and bold bib style silhouette. The top of each Lucite piece is COMPLETELY ENCRUSTED IN SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS in a geometric art deco inspired diamond design. Nested between the crystals are several red enamel coral branches that add a beautiful pop of color against the cool rhodium plated metal. If you are not familiar with rhodium it is AMAZING because it is scratch AND tarnish resistant so that it will never fade or damage over time. The rhodium has been plated over sturdy high-quality brass.
