John Primer, the last guitarist to carry on the legacy of the golden age of Chicago blues, and whose latest album "Hard Times" was well received last year, has released a tribute album to his longtime ally to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Magic Slim's death!
Featuring the members of the Teardrops, his ironclad regular band, as well as his son, guitarist Sean Holt as a guest, the album offers a full range of songs that were Slim's specialty.
