The Nikon SMZ1500 isan advance Stereo Zoom Microscope with superb optics and design based on the newest microscope's technologies.   
The microscope provides a high resolution observation.

A zoom ratio of 15 to 1 provides the SMZ1500 with a range of magnifications from 0.75x to 11.25x for a total magnifying capability of 3.75x up to 540x, depending on the oculars and objectives installed. 

SMZ1500’s optical system includes high-eyepoint eyepieces with built-in diopter adjustments, a wide field of view, and a built-in aperture diaphragm for achieving optimal depth of focus and improved photomicrography.

Nikon SMZ1500 has three options of the binocular heads that includes either a low eye-level viewing tube or a tilting eyepiece tube, with or without eye-level risers.

The zoom body has a built-in iris diaphragm. 

The focus mount has both coarse and fine focus. 

Click stops on the instrument's zoom knob allows to zoom from 1x to 11x at 1x-intervals without interrupting observations.

This SMZ1500 comes with Nikon C-BD 115 Diascopic Stands, that has a built-in power supply and LED illuminator.

These stands also feature their own fine focus knob at the front of the streamlined base, in addition to the one at the focusing mount to make critical adjustment of focus much easier, especially during micromanipulations.
