THE FAMOUS GOLDEN GUN

Item comes framed in the wood and glass frame as shown in picture one.  It is fully assembled and ready to use.  The price includes the gun, frame, labor and boxing.

Background:

The Golden Gun is the signature weapon of assassin Scaramanga. It appeared as the titular weapon in Ian Fleming's posthumously published novel. In the novel it is merely a gold-plated .45-calibre revolver. In the film adaptation, the weapon is a custom-built, single-shot pistol assembled from four seemingly innocuous golden objects: a pen, a lighter and a cigarette case. Its popularity led to appearances in most of the Spy video games.

The Golden Gun in this listing is the one we know from our favorite movies and video games. It will turn into the lighter, the pen and the cigarette case. This item is made of plastic and the pen is larger in size than is seen in the movie. The gun, when assembled is approximately 10” in length so, it appears to be about the same size, but because the pen is more the size of a marker than a pen it is not a 1:1 scale movie reproduction. This is not a fragile prop and can be played and taken apart into the three pieces and put back into the gun repeatedly. It is highly recommended not to be given to a child, there are parts that can be choking hazards as well as the lack of fine motor skills could definitely equate to a broken item. It is also not a hollow injection molded plastic that one thinks of when they think of a ‘toy’, it is a more sturdy and heavier build. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

The pistol has a 2 day build on machines, a 2 day build and mount, with a 7 day wait time. I do this full time. I love my work.

The assembled pistol is about the same size as in the movie and will be standard for any home collection of DVDs and memorabilia. Please note, the pen is larger than the original and is not to scale with the pen from the movie.
