Instruction

ATR3 CMOS 9MP camera adopts SONY 1" CMOS sensor as the image-picking device and USB3.0 is used as the transfer interface to increase the frame rate.

With the two-stage peltier cooling sensor chip to -42 degree below ambient temperature.

This will greatly increase the signal to noise ratio and decrease the image noise. Smart structure is designed to assure the heat radiation efficiency and avoid the moisture problem.

Electric fan is used to increase the heat radiation speed.

USB3.0 is used as the data transfer interface to increase the frame rate.

ATR3 CMOS 16mp camera comes with advanced video & image processing application RisingSky; Providing Windows/Linux/OSX multiple platform SDK; Native C/C++, C#/VB.NET,

DirectShow, Twain Control API;

14bit ADC and ROI

The ATR3CMOS09000KPA has built in 14bit ADC. It also has 12bit output mode for hardware binning and smaller resolution.  DDR3 Buffer

ATR3CMOS09000KPA camera has a 512MB (4Gb) DDR3 buffer, which helps maintain the stability of data transmission, and effectively reduce the amp-glow caused because image data can be temporarily buffered without being sent hastily to the receiver.

Binning

The ATR3CMOS09000KPA supports digital binning from 1´1 to 8´8 in either stacking or averaging method, and hardware binning from 1´1 to 3´3 in averaging method. Hardware pixel binning is much faster than software binning.

Conversion Gain Switch

ATR3CMOS09000KPA support HCG and LCG mode switch, the Gain ratio is 3.05.

Power and Cooling System for Precise Temperature Regulation

The Camera can be powered by DC12V 3A power source. Please remember that when the power adaptor is plugged in, cooling system and image process system are both powered by DC 12V port, otherwise, image process system is powered by USB port while cooling system is off.The cooling system of ATR3CMOS09000KPA is two-stage Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC) with controllable electric fan assisting heat dissipation.The TEC system is controlled by PID algorithm, which allows the TEC to be precisely regulated towards the target temperature with 0.1°C deviation.The working temperature can be regulated to specific number, and effective temperature drop can be -40°C from ambient temperature. Such efficient cooling system guarantees the stability of ultra-low noise mode and quality of the camera image.

Zero Amp-Glow

ATR3CMOS09000KPA has been carefully designed and is able to achieve zero amp-glow photo shooting. Figure 3 and Figure 4 show the different cameras at 20°C and 5-minute exposure time with and without amp-glow. By comparison, the image captured by ATR3CMOS09000KPA shows zero amp-glow.
