This is a Silver coloured cable chain pendant necklace made from a Greek FIFTY DRACHMA coin. It is from 1982 which is a 42nd birthday. 

    It features Solon, a famous Athenian statesman, lawmaker and poet. Only issued in 1982 & 1984. Diameter 31 mm.

    All my coins have been in circulation so may have some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail.

    They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. 

    The cable chain is Silver plated with a Lobster claw clasp. Length is 450 mm (18") which can extend to 500 mm (20").
