Colorful fun and strikingly uncommon chandelier opal earrings hold many unusual properties.
Chandelier style with a round, curved edge disk, hinged to a triple bud stacked earring bail. These are medium in size at 1.5" long by 3/4" wide. They are a splendid representation of the purple - pink color wheel.
The opals are 1.75c oval freeform that are classified as 'black opal' but really are a natural blue base with splashes of pink, gold, green and purple fire. Each opal is about 9mm by 5mm. The setting is remarkable! It is a dimensional curved edge disk with texture and sprinkled with cherry hued amethysts. The settings are solid sterling silver 925 with accents of 14k rose gold around each edge, lip and dot... so fun to look at!
They are significant in size as far as earrings go, however, they are not heavy. Each earrings weighs only 4.1 grams. The backing are the modern and more secure form of butterfly backings.
