28mm scale Bocage walls

Perfect for Games of Bolt Action

28mm scale Bocage walls as seen in Normandy during WW2. These walls were just piles of stones cleared from the fields by farmers in the middle ages when agriculture first took hold. The lines of stones quickly became field boundaries with trees and scrub growing through them creating a near impassable barrier. Perfect for keeping animals and crops safe from harsh winds and weather they soon proved deadly for the advancing Allies and defending Germans. During the assault by the Allies after D day as tanks and infantry struggled to make headway down the narrow lanes the tight gap between the hedgerows were used to great effect when ambushing enemy tanks as their manoeuvrability was severely hampered.

By adding some simple lichen to the top of the walls you can get some good line of sight blocking scenery which counts as hard cover for infantry.

The walls are made from resin and supplied unpainted or flocked, figures, roads, trees and bushes in pictures are for scale only (28mm scale)

1 set comprises of the following as seen in the last two pictures
