Vintage Lady Evette Berry Bowl Set by Stetson Warranted 22 KT Gold Made in the USA oval serving bowl and 3 fruit bowls

From Kovels.com......The Stetson China Company had opened a china decorating studio in 1919. Joseph W. Stetson who owned the company in the 1940's wanted a steadier supply of blanks for decorating bought pottery in Lincoln, Illinois and moved the company there. Stetson was located in Lincoln from 1946 to 1966. Dishes were either hand painted using standard design outlines or decorated with decals.

Available is a lovely 4 piece Berry Set. A 9-1/2" oval serving bowl and 3 fruit (or dessert bowls) that measure 5-1/4". The set has a hand painted rim is a rust color and beautiful a 22 KT gold filigree pattern encompassing the edge perfectly accents the wild flower transfer on the base.

The base of each piece has a gold hallmark that is, the portrait profile of the "Lady Evette by R X Stetson Warranted 22 KT. Gold Made in the U.S.A.". The rust-colored paint around the rim shows wear and the transfer in the bowl is faded, otherwise there is no discernable issues to note. But that certainly does not take away from the beauty of the pieces and the history around them!
