2 Antique Vintage Silk Hankies War Souvenirs France U S Embroidered As Is
Both are old silk World War 1 French Hanky souvenirs. Both have problems. BOTH SOLD AS IS
1. Souvenir de France --Condition -- 1/4" fold deterioration tear (fragile), Couple pinholes, small spot in lace area.
12" square.
Note the shield, rather than a flag - unusual.
2. Antique Vintage Silk Hanky Embroidered To My Dear Mother U.S. and France Flags War Souvenir
Unused, but unfortunate deterioration in the fold area - 1-1/2" inch area *very fragile* and 2 pinholes - So, SOLD AS IS. Shame because it is a lovely old souvenir.
The rest of it seems ok - I pulled on it to see.
12-1/2". Has 1-1/2" wide lace edging.
Pale blue silk with white lace
Embroidered Pansies and 2 flags.
