Manufacturer's guarantee / guarantee conditions

There is a manufacturer's guarantee (further information and notes on the guarantee see below!) from the guarantor (Motorola Mobility Germany GmbH a Lenovo company, Vorstadt 2, 61440 Oberursel, Germany,) with a duration of (24 months from the original date of purchase). The territorial scope of the guarantee protection (Federal Republic of Germany).

The following guarantee conditions apply:

MOTOROLA MOBILITY LLC GLOBAL LIMITED WARRANTY

What does this limited warranty cover?

Motorola Mobility LLC (“Motorola”) warrants to the original purchaser (“You”) that the mobile phone and the accessories included with your mobile phone (the “Products”) will be free from defects for a period of 24 months (“Warranty Period”). from the original

THE REPRESENTATIONS IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE MADE IN ADDITION AND DO NOT AFFECT YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS IN ANY WAY.

What do we do if you seek service under this Limited Warranty?
If you validly obtain service under this Limited Warranty, Motorola will (at its option) either (1) repair the Product with new, used, or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) replace the Product with a new or refurbished one
(“like new”) exchange product or (3) replace the purchase price. All products for which a refund or replacement has been granted become the property of Motorola.

What is not covered?

The following damages are not covered by this Limited Warranty unless caused by a defect in materials or workmanship:
(a) Batteries or any protective coating, which by their nature are subject to wear and tear.
(b) Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, cracks or normal signs of wear.
(c) Damage caused by use with a non-Motorola product. Defects or damage resulting from the use of any compatible product, accessory, option and/or software not sold under the Motorola brand or not certified by Motorola.
(d) damages beyond Motorola's control such as (i) damages caused by accident, abuse, misuse; (ii) Damage caused by operating the Product outside of what is permitted or specified by Motorola in the user manual, quick start guide, online tutorials and
other documents relating to the product [including use of the product for the purpose of [commercial rental]]; (iii) Damage caused by improper storage (e.g. subjecting the product to extreme temperatures), misuse or neglect (e.g. damaged/bent/missing brackets/fixtures/connections), damage caused by external
impacts (e.g. falling of the product); (iv) Damage caused by contact with liquids, water, rain, extreme humidity, excessive sweating or other liquids; sand, food, dirt or similar substances; (with the exception of products where resistance to such substances was guaranteed when sold, but only if the damage is not due to insufficient protection of the protective elements of the phone or to the fact that the product is used outside of the specified specifications or limits becomes); or (v) damage caused by flood, fire, earthquake, tornado or other acts of God beyond Motorola's control.
(e) Unauthorized Services. Defects or damage resulting from service, testing, adjustment, installation, maintenance, alteration or modification not performed by Motorola or a Motorola Authorized Service Center.
(f) Products that have been modified in any way without Motorola's written permission, including (i) serial numbers, date stamps, or other manufacturer codes that have been removed, altered, or defaced; (ii) incorrect or duplicate serial numbers; (iii) broken seals or other evidence of misuse; or
(iv) Equipment items that have been modified or show signs of attempted modification.
IMPORTANT: USE OF THE PRODUCT IS ILLEGAL IF IT NO LONGER COMPLIES WITH THE GERMAN AUTHORIZATIONS THAT RELEASED THIS PRODUCT. FOR THIS REASON, YOU MAY NOT MAKE CHANGES IN THE PRODUCT THAT CAUSE AN AFFECTING OF THE EMISSION, MODULATION AND TRANSMISSION CHARACTERISTICS. THIS INCLUDES THE POWER LEVELS, OPERATING FREQUENCIES AND BANDWIDTHS, SAR VALUES, DUTY CYCLE, TRANSMISSION MODES AND INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT.
(g) Normal signs of wear or things due to the normal aging of the product.
(h) Defects, damage or failure of the Product due to any third party communication service or network to which you subscribe or use with the Product.
(i) Software.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOTOROLA MAKES NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS. IN PARTICULAR, MOTOROLA DOES NOT WARRANT OR REPRESENT THAT THE PRODUCTS WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT USE IN COMBINATION WITH ANY THIRD-PARTY HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR SERVICES WILL BE POSSIBLE, THAT THE OPERATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR WITHOUT THE RISK OF LOSS OF DATA IS. YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT NEITHER RETAILERS NOR THIRD PARTIES ARE AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS ON BEHALF OF MOTOROLA OR TO MODIFY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOTOROLA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH MAY OTHERWISE APPLY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOTOROLA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR STATUTORY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), FOR DAMAGES EXCEEDING THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT, FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, FOR ANY KIND TZ-, LOSS OF PROFITS OR BUSINESS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF REPUTATION, LOSS OR DAMAGE OF INFORMATION, DATA, SOFTWARE OR APPLICATIONS (INCLUDING ANY COSTS RESULTING IN THE RECOVERY, PROGRAMMING OR REPRODUCTION OF INFORMATION, DATE N, SOFTWARE OR APPLICATIONS ARE RELATED, STORED ON OR USED WITH MOTOROLA PRODUCTS, AND ANY BREACH OF CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION OR DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCTS), AND OTHER FINANCIAL LOSS RESULTING FROM ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, WHAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE USED OR RELATED TO THEM. BY MAKING A CLAIM UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, YOU INDICATE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THIS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO THE EXCLUSION MAY NOT LIMIT YOUR RIGHTS AGAINST MOTOROLA. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUDES SUCH REMEDIES ONLY TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE LAW ALLOWS RELEASE OF LIABILITIES.

Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty promise. In particular, any existing statutory warranty rights against us remain unaffected by this guarantee promise.

Information on the battery regulation

Batteries may not be disposed of with household rubbish.
As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries.
You can return batteries after use at the point of sale or in its immediate vicinity
(e.g. in municipal collection points or in retail) free of charge.
You can also return batteries to us by mail.

Batteries or accumulators that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can,
like the symbol below.

The chemical name of the pollutant is located near the garbage can symbol.
"CD" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for = lead and "Hg" for mercury.
